Heathcote on Show weekend showcases what the Region has to offer. On the Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend in June – over 40 participating regional winemakers along with growers, chefs, brewers, farmers, artists and musicians welcome you to more than 30 unique locations in the Heathcote township and Region.
Heathcote on Show is a special weekend as it offers the opportunity to meet winemakers in their vineyards and cellar doors, sample new releases and even be amongst the lucky few to share museum release wines. Many cellar doors offer live music and gourmet foods.
This is your opportunity to visit and discover amazing wines, tour vineyards and wineries, experience a tutored master class, be guided through tastings by winemakers or even take a walking tour in a vineyard.
But there is much more that Heathcote has to offer.
This historical gold mining town has a wonderful country charm with a hint of old fashioned mixed with the new – exciting places to eat and lifestyle stores to explore. Visit Heathcote and experience our celebrated wines with regional foods to match.
For the walkers and explorers, there is the Pink Cliffs geological site with its own vibrant story to tell or the many walking tracks that offer an interesting journey with native fauna and flora. Whilst enjoying the outdoors, you may even like to try your cycling skills on our newly opened section of the Bendigo-O’Keefe Rail Trail.
Enjoy a meal or coffee at one of the many cafes and restaurants, take in a little shopping or choose to stay for the weekend. The region and the township has all levels of accommodation to suit your needs.
